NEW YORK: Hiking in the Catskills I

We left our hotel around 9am to head north to Catskills Park. Our goal for the day was to hike the Escarpment Loop trail - about 4.7 miles of forested trails and some gorgeous mountain views. It took us approximately 3.5 - 4hrs to make the hike. The hour or so drive to the park was absolutely worth the views, as the fall leaves here seemed just a bit more colorful than our previous hikes. As we hiked Breakneck Ridge the day before, we were exhausted by the completion of this hike. Overall it was not too strenuous and very enjoyable. We took some footage of our hike with the gopro - which should be up on our new Youtube Channel soon! Due to the volume of photos, a second post will follow shortly with more views of the fall foliage
